It all began with her dog and a business card.
Dog training has been in Jennifer’s family for three generations. Having grown up as a competitive equestrian and surrounded by dogs her entire life, including many competition-trained German Shepherds, Jennifer was able to apply that discipline and knowledge to her work with her clients. After moving to Los Angeles Jennifer worked with the President of Hewlett Packard, finding and training two German Shepherd protection dogs for his home security. This led to her work with The Chameleon Group - an elite security firm for which she trained many personal protection dogs for their celebrity and high-end clients. She is also a former Schutzhund competitor.
Jennifer spent time living and working with wolves in Colorado studying their behavior. This unique experience has made her one of the leading experts on wolf and wolf-dog behavior. She was featured in a 1-hour special episode of The Dog Whisperer, co-starring with Cesar Milan, entitled “Wolf Dogs: Out Of The Wild” and was offered the opportunity for her own series.
Jennifer has taught training seminars, lectures and classes across the country for doggie daycares, boarding facilities, vet offices and retail chains. She has been a celebrity spokesperson for pet retailer Planet Dog and a guest judge on Bravo’s Sheer Genius. She has also been featured in major publications from the L.A. Times to the Wall Street Journal.
Jennifer has worked with dogs through the Los Angeles court system, handling some of the most severe cases of behavioral issues. She has trained service dogs to help victims of war and human trafficking.
Experience matters. Jennifer is a Master Dog Trainer who has coached many people into becoming successful dog trainers themselves. She is trusted by her A-list celebrity clients, providing a very private and discreet service. She also works with many families and individuals across Las Vegas.
