Jennifer McCarthy - World Class Dog Training: Schutzhund

Schutzhund 3 Schutzhund, otherwise known as protection dog, was first developed in Germany at the turn of the twentieth century as a means of testing and preserving the character and utility of the German Shepherd dog. Jennifer's family history notes many awards as one of the top competitors in Schutzhund training in Germany. Today, Schutzhund is one of the fastest-growing forms of canine competition in the United States and is now a sport open to all breeds competing as working dogs. Each dog and handler team is tested in three areas: tracking, obedience and protection work. Schutzhund is a very advanced form of training and not every dog has what it takes to compete.

As a former Schutzhund competitor, Jennifer and her team can help coach you to achieving high scores and high titles on your dog. Whether it's just a BH or all the way to Schutzhund 3 or an FH title, we can get you there. We also offer evaluations on your dog to see if he or she has what it takes to be a competitive Schutzhund contender.

At Jennifer McCarthy World Class Training, we offer this unique method of obedience, protection and tracking to canine enthusiasts.
