World Class Human/Animal Intensive

ult_brdSchl_06Having problems doesn't just end with your pet- it goes beyond them. When we think of pet problems, we usually don't think of our own problems that could be reflected in our best friends or our fears, insecurities, emotions, unhappiness, etc. that could be impacting their progress. Usually it starts by opening a window to help our dog only to be told that the environment in which the dog currently exists is too stressful or the implications of divorce, death or even anxiety that make us realize that in order for our animal to change, we must also change ourselves.

No where else in the world will you find a program such as this that doesn't just rehabilitate the dog but also the owner. In this safe, therapeutic, encouraging and hopeful environment, we have added a licensed psychologist to the team to educate the client on anything from coping skills at overcoming obstacles, emotions and fears to managing stress, anxiety and relationships, grieving processes and so much more. We aim to start a healthy and new beginning for the whole relationship as individual dog and owner get the combined help they deserve.

humanAnimalIntensive_02Clients will participate in one on one sessions with their dog, individual, human counseling sessions, one on one sessions with a top horse trainer, art therapy and nature excursions.

We strongly believe that people can learn more about themselves through their pets, nature and other animals to the point of feeling whole again. It's through this connection that the healing process begins and a new pathway to internal peace and happiness reveals itself…

humanAnimalIntensive_03Each client and dog(s) are focussed on by a team of experts that will design a course that best suits their individual needs. We will develop a schedule suited to their goals based on our assessment of the situation. Clients will learn basic skills with horses and ground work, dog training and psychology as well as work on their own behavior changes to help improve their quality of life. Nature walks and art therapy add an important component and ranch life brings a perfect peaceful atmosphere to reflect and to take inventory of where one want's to go.

This is an opportunity that can't be missed if you are interested in starting fresh and what a perfect way to do that by including a new relationship with your best friend and hands on experience with horses!
