Bow Wow!

Posted by amy on July 25, 2008.

Much Love Animal Rescue is a 100% nonprofit, no-kill organization dedicated to reducing overpopulation, abuse and neglect of domestic animals. Much Love is run entirely by like-minded professionals who volunteer their time and resources to help save the lives of these animals. Since 2000, they have successfully placed over 2,000 animals in loving homes. Here are a few shots from The Second Annual “Bow Wow WOW” event from the Playboy Mansion earlier this week.

Life On A Mountain

Posted by audra on July 19, 2008.

Hello everyone~

We're really enjoying living on a mountain! The dogs are having a blast running around checking out the new area, and we've already found some great trails to explore since Gross Reservoir is so close by, as is Walker Ranch. Kona loves the mountain air-- it's MUCH cooler without New Jersey's humidity and it keeps him young. :) The scenery here is absolutely incredible and every day I can't believe I live here. Having grown up in NJ I'm accustomed to a certain amount of vibrant greenery when the warmer months come around, but the mountains of Colorado hold a different sort of breathtaking beauty for me. I've been coming to Colorado my entire life and I've always felt this way about these mountains.

I've already done a lot since arriving here. I've had the opportunity to observe quite a few different cases, as well as get experience with various breeds and personalities. It's definitely been a broadening experience! I look forward to meeting more and more challenges in the months to come. The clients I've had the pleasure to work with thus far have made the time fly by for me, which has been great. This is what I love doing, and everyday is a step closer to being the best dog trainer I can be. For now, I'm off to bed as Elvis and I have a busy day of Schutzhund training starting early tomorrow. Until next time, stay cool and take care!

Hello From Above Boulder!

Posted by jennifer on July 19, 2008.

Hi Friends-
Sorry I've been out of touch... Our move to the mountains was very successful and we're enjoying every minute of it. The dogs love it up here and clients seem to be very happy to get out of the heat and get back into nature. Business is as busy as ever. If you'd like to watch me on the TV screen locally, I'll be making an appearance on Good Morning Colorado this Wednesday a.m. and you can also check me out nationally on Bravo Wed. Aug. 6th, 2008 for an episode of Sheer Genius.
At the new Ranch location, I've installed a 90 gallon salt water fish tank thanks to the guys over at Aqua Imports in Boulder (www.aqua-imports.com). We are currently going through the cycling process but thus far, I'm the proud owner of five hermit crabs and 6 Blue Damsels. The tank will be a nice stress relief from the office and watching the entire eco-system unfold is better than watching TV!
Our agility course is expanding and classes in August are getting filled up. We will be coming out with a newsletter shortly to fill you in on what's been going on so hang in there- we've just been really busy!
Hope this finds you and your dogs well and enjoying summer...
All my best,
Jennifer
